Job Description
You will assume responsibility for the successful project management of a portfolio of electrical substation related infrastructure projects. This includes the execution and management of all contract phases from inception and planning; through to commissioning and hand over; whilst working within the designated timelines and budget.
Duties:
- Determine project pricing and prepare tender documentation for submission.
- Contract negotiation and management.
- Customer liaison and compiling project reports.
- Management and co-ordination of project teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Project and resource planning and maintaining of up-to-date planning programmes.
- Contract budgeting and cost control reporting.
- Invoicing and cash flow forecasting.
- Co-ordination and supervision of design work, construction and commissioning of projects.
- Enforcing health, safety and environmental standards and legislation.
- Implementation of ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Management of project empowerment targets.
- Project close-out and final documentation submittals.
- Performing any other ancillary duties that may be reasonably expected, as and when required.
Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering Degree/Diploma
Skills
- Experience in the electrical engineering industry, in particular Substation related work.
- Commercial expedience (FIDIC, NEC).
