Our client in the IT industry is seeking a dynamic SHEQ/HR Manager to join their team in Nelspruit. This dual-role position demands a proactive leader capable of ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while managing HR functions to foster employee development, engagement, and organizational growth. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field Advanced certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 9001) are a plus 5+ years of experience in SHEQ management and HR Dual-role experience preferred Strong knowledge of SHEQ standards, regulations, and best practices Valid drivers license and own vehicle SHEQ Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain safety policies, conduct audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions Oversee health programs, manage environmental practices, and deliver safety training Ensure quality control processes meet standards and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) Analyze SHEQ performance and implement improvement initiatives while staying updated on best practices HR Responsibilities:
Manage recruitment, interviews, and onboarding, collaborating with departments to meet staffing needs Address employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment and resolving conflicts Implement performance management systems, support career development, and provide feedback Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll, ensuring competitive packages through salary reviews Ensure compliance with labor laws, updating HR policies and employee handbooks
