Join our team as a Senior Deal Originator, where you'll drive impactful change by leading the origination of transformative projects in the energy and ICT sectors. Your role will involve identifying opportunities, building robust client relationships, and developing bankable deals that contribute to sustainable growth and regional integration.

As a Senior Deal Originator, you'll collaborate with top-tier stakeholders, leverage your extensive networks, and apply your expertise in finance, project management, and deal structuring. You'll be at the forefront of creating a pipeline of high-quality investments, working closely with our project preparation and transactions teams to bring projects to bankability.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the strategic objectives of the business through proactive deal origination and business development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders across Africa.
Develop a deep understanding of the political and financial landscapes to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
Lead the development of new business strategies to ensure a continuous flow of impactful, bankable projects.

Qualifications:

Honours degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or Economics.
8-10 years of experience in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, or Structured Finance.
Proven track record in securing infrastructure investment deals in SA and/or Africa.
Strong networks with global and regional private investors and financial institutions.
In-depth knowledge of the infrastructure market and financial regulatory environments across Africa.
