Our client in the Textile or Apparel Manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled, ambitious, and energetic Marketing and Business Development Manager to help expand their clientele. This role requires a dedicated individual who can create and apply effective sales strategies to drive sustainable financial growth, boost sales, and forge strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Understand market trends and their impact on current and new clients.
- Implement marketing strategies to increase clientele and revenue.
- Organize creative campaigns and promotional events to attract new clients and increase revenue.
- Implement marketing strategies including advertising, communication campaigns (TV, social media, radio, etc.), exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers for collaboration in promotional activities.
- Monitor campaign progress using various metrics and submit performance reports.
- Implement control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication.
- Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material, etc.).
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the company’s products by addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build strong relationships with current and new customers both locally and internationally.
- Forecast business projections and trends, formulate result-oriented plans, and set and adhere to budgets/objectives.
- Negotiate buying terms with vendors (price, quantity, delivery terms, and markdowns).
- Engage with the Sales, Planning and Production, and Design teams to meet current and new client requirements.
- Manage the Marketing and Business Development administrator who will assist with all administrative tasks.
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Textile Technology, and Product Business Development.
- Qualification in Marketing of new business and product.
- 5-10 years of proven working experience in Marketing and Development of new business in Textile or Apparel Manufacturing.
- Proven sales track record.
- Passion for the “art” of marketing with an abundance of ideas for implementing efficient strategies.
- Strong arsenal of techniques and methods to promote products, services, and public image.
- Proven experience in the implementation of Marketing Strategies.
- Proven track record in Hospitality, Retail, e-Commerce, or Exports growth and new business development.
- Proven ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
- Aptitude for identifying new areas for business growth and development.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good business acumen with a high degree of analytical skills and Marketing knowledge.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time management and planning skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to monitor and evaluate new opportunities in the industry.
