PURPOSE: To deliver expert technical support in engineering discipline in projects and to contribute effectively to development of the Group’s business growth and operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support service delivery within department and project budget parameters
- Technical contribution in individual skill area based on sound principles

- Design in accordance with relevant specifications and proficiency
- Adhere to appropriate quality management systems
- Ensure skills and technology communication to business units
- Ensure that written reports are produced and delivered to client in accordance with Group standards
- Oversee the execution of fit for purpose engineering design
- Compliance, Governance and Assurance
- Support technology capabilities involved in project execution and delivery within Engineering discipline
- Ensure compliance to sound engineering standards and quality
- Ensure that latest legislative/Company requirements are adhered to with specific reference to engineering designs
- Ensure a standardized approach to service delivery is followed within discipline
- Ensure compliance to all standards and procedures

- Provide expert technical support and direction to project teams and business units

- Support the execution of discipline and project strategy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- BEng Mechanical Engineering (Essential/Minimum)
- Management Development Programme (Recommended/Desirable)
- Gov Cert of Competence: Engineering (Recommended/Desirable)
- 6-8 years Relevant experience in Maintenance, Hazard identification, Risk assessment, Procurement, Project Engineering, Design, Erection and Installation, Contract and Project Management, in Heavy Industry
