We are seeking a forward thinking, excellent, and creative administrator to help lead and manage our Administrative Services team. Our impressive administrative team is led by our experienced Business Manager, and you will be key in supporting them and line managing a committed team and its operational delivery of our professional, high quality, centralised administrative support service.

What you will do in this role:
- Manage and inspire the officers within your team ensuring that they are supported to deliver a high-level of performance.
- Plan and manage the resources required daily to ensure staff and work are allocated appropriately across the services provided by the team.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders in teams across the Council to understand their requirements, ensuring the right skills and knowledge are held within the team.
- Take a proactive approach to service improvement, always seeking to improve, innovate and deliver the best service.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Proven experience leading or managing a team.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a busy administration environment.
- Able to prioritise and organise workload effectively.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Focussed on providing a high-level of customer service.
- Takes a flexible approach to ensure operational needs are met.
