Payroll Specialist required to process payroll for all employees across the group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
The role involves managing employee data, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies, and acting as a key point of contact for payroll, benefits, audit, and statutory-related inquiries.
Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, quality assurance, capturing payroll inputs, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Additional responsibilities include releasing payslips, preparing and distributing reports, reconciling payroll to accounts, and keeping up to date with legislation changes impacting payroll processing.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant diploma or degree, a minimum of 3 years experience as a payroll specialist, and experience in processing payroll in multiple African countries.
Experience with Sage 300 and in-depth country-specific understanding of statutory and people-related legislation impacting payroll and benefits processing is also required.
