A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Resident and Business Support for a Revenues and Benefits Team Leader. This is one of six positions within the service who have day to day line management for individual areas of the business. The individual areas are Revenues, Benefits, Housing Benefit Overpayments and Accounts Receivable, however, all roles are interchangeable.The position we are looking to recruit into will initially manage the Benefits teams and therefore a current working knowledge of Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction policies and legislation is essential.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring benefit payments are awarded within agreed performance measures, whilst ensuring accuracy of claims is maintained at all times. In addition, the postholder will be responsible for working with other internal departments to provide a consolidated financial support solution, whilst ensuring customers receive an excellent level of customer service when dealing with all services.This is an ideal opportunity for the right person to join a team that is both enthusiastic and motivated in delivering quality services for its customers.
