Soft Services ManagerPermanent, Full TimeHours: 40 (Monday – Friday 8am -5pm, with very occasional flexibility to cover part of night shifts)Location: Stratford, E20 2AFWe are recruiting for an experienced Soft Services Manager to lead a multiple-service facilities team at the new UCL campus’ in Stratford. The Soft Services Manager would be responsible for the delivery of our contract cleaning, FOH, waste, caretaking and security services that cover 2 large university campus’ in on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. They will focus on developing our customer relationships, helping to guide the strategy while taking full control of team performance and budget management. The successful candidate will have strong people management skills, an ability to develop credible client relationships and proven experience of delivering an exceptional standard on a service contract. It is essential that candidates have a background in Facilities Management, biased towards Soft Services, and that they understand how to prove performance through data. They must also be competent raising risk assessments for a variety of bespoke cleaning duties on site. The successful candidate will have; Proven experience in facilities services, with a focus on soft services management Experience working within an educational facility Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teamsStrong customer service orientation, with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships SMSTS and/or knowledge of Risk Assessments (would be beneficial)IOSHH / NEBOSH qualification You would be responsible for; Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction Manage a team of soft services staff (team of 20) ensuring they are properly trained, motivated etcEnsure the weekly contractual hours are delivered to each clientEnsuring compliance with HSE regulations including robust follow up on accidents / incidentsMonitor and evaluate the quality of facility services provided while identifying areas for improvement etc Undertaking regular audits including covering a night shift audit once a monthEnsuring equipment and materials orders are kept in stock.
