We are currently working with several large government organisation's to help them transition from petrol/diesel vehicle to electric in order to reduce their CO2 emissions.Job descriptionWe currently have a opening for an enthusiastic person with a high level of experience who is happy to get "Hands On" to take on the duty of Head of Finance.This role will involve:RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensuring that an organisation meets the necessary tax, permit and licensing requirementsCollaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company’s ledgerOverseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosuresProviding executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategisingMonitoring spending and creating budgetsPreparing company reports for investorsPerforming financial analysis on the company to predict financial healthFinding ways to reduce costs and increase profitsCollaborating with management to create funding strategiesSummarising budget trends, analysing deficiencies and reporting variances to executivesTaking care of tax preparation duties or liaising with external tax accountants for tax preparationEnsuring adherence to national and international financial regulationsOverseeing a company’s payroll and bookkeeping systemDeveloping automated accounting programs to help increase productivity and business efficiencySupervising the internal accounting team and assisting their growthWorking with our development team to create/update automated systems between our platform and accounting software packagesGeneral bookkeeping (ie: bank reconciliation, invoicing, raising purchase orders on Xero accounting software.Client account reconciliationRequirementsDESIRED EXPERIENCE:Highly proficient IT skills including MS Office packages.Excellent working knowledge of Xero.FCCA (or equivalent)Able to take the initiative, work successfully under pressure, and intelligently assess and anticipate the requirements of the Leadership Team.Is open to change and possible alternatives to doing things differently.Full Time
