We have opportunities to be part of the Composite Laminating team in the role of Laminator - Weekend Nights.The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:Possess an excellent working knowledge of composite procedures, material specifications and cure parameters.Possess a thorough understanding of engineering drawings, department equipment and department procedures.Demonstrate a good working knowledge of component requirements.To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues.To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills.Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.A high level of attention to detail, positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a flexible ‘hands-on’ approach to workload and hours is essential.The Key responsibilities of this role are:Produce laminated components to the highest quality standard.Adhere to departmental processes when preparing moulds and tooling for laminating.Operate autoclaves according to cure cycle parameters and guidance.Load and unload autoclaves.Break out components.Ensure material used are as per specification and are laid up in accordance with design data.Ensure ERP system is kept up to date with hours, materials and any other information required.Cut and prepare composite material where required in order to maintain material usage efficiency.Continuously develop skills and knowledge to industry standard.Maintain high levels of housekeeping standards.To store moulds, tooling, material, and consumables in accordance with company process.Immediately report any issues that could affect the quality of components.Highlight/report any issues with department equipment.Maintain high levels of efficiency within the composite laminating department.Liaise with other departments and help eliminate past/present and any future problems.To work proactively, responsibly, and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structureEmbark on a journey with Aston Martin Aramco® Formula One Team to reshape history at our brand new state-of-the-art, sustainable campus based in Northamptonshire.
