The range of projects and programmes we work on are extremely diverse (varying from provision of “life support” services to the military to Portfolio, Programme & Project management to Consultancy services), resulting in a variety of work and a genuine claim that no two days are the same.About the RoleReporting to the Project Managers the JAMES Asset Manager will manage all client’s assets for all Swindon Projects through the clients Joint Asset Management and Engineering System (JAMES) IT system and accurate record keeping of KBR electronic records.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for accurately recording the transfer of client assets on issue from the Swindon equipment support facility.Responsible for accurately recording receipts of client assets on first receipt or return to the Swindon equipment support facility.Responsible for accurately recording all maintenance activities undertaken on client assets on return from maintenance team within the Swindon equipment support facility.Provide accurate data to the Project Management Teams for client reporting purposes.Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Works Act.Ensure document control accountability for all KBR and equipment record books or forms.Required Skills & QualificationsTrained and experienced with the clients JAMES IT system.Supervisory experience and good communication skills.Good knowledge of military equipment with an engineering backgroundGood understanding of MoD systems and processesJAMES qualified in all modules up to and including Senior Equipment Manager and Repair Manager.Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background with an understanding of military equipment.The role is based on-site at Swindon.Better, Stronger, TogetherOur employees are the heart of everything we do.
