SYSTRA are now hiring for an experienced Technical Assurance expert to join us at Principal Engineer level and continue the growth of our technical directorate. With opportunity to provide progressive delivery of Technical Assurance on one of the largest transport infrastructure engineering projects in the UK, this role will suit a passionate and dedicated professional, keen to develop their career in an innovative organisation. The role is predominantly Birmingham based with the flexibility of hybrid working.Role Responsibilities:Work as part of the Technical Assurance core project team to manage the progressive delivery of assurance to support staged and single Assurance Packs for the detailed design delivery of key infrastructure engineering projects. This involves but is not limited to:-The definition and establishment of assurance processes to be utilised by the sublot assurance teams for the provision of assurance;Establishing, maintaining and evaluating key performance indicators to demonstrate the efficacy of assurance processesCo-ordinating assurance leads to provide a coherent approach to assurance across the works;Identifying and addressing assurance issues raised with the view of a right first-time delivery in line with programme requirements;Working collaboratively with joint venture partners and clients to facilitate the acceptance of assurance deliverables.Identifying, establishing and maintaining contractual baselines defining assurance requirements.Chairing client assurance meetings, risk reduction meetings to facilitate a coherent approach to the provision and acceptance of assurance.Experience Required:Detailed knowledge of Technical assurance management and delivery on significant rail projectsPrevious experience delivering / leading Technical assurance on similar scale and complexity of projects Previous experience with Requirements and Configuration ManagementDemonstrable experience within a design organisation either undertaking or co-ordinating design activitiesAble to work independentlyAble to supervise and manage other project team membersWhy SYSTRA?Our three core values: Excellence, Connected Teams and Bold Leadership are kept at the heart of everything we do.
