This digital marketing site is experiencing rapid growth and transformation, the business goes through a strategic review & possible transaction.Role Overview:They are Looking for someone who can be a right hand person to the CFO, with experience across both operational finance and commercial finance/business partnering. Hybrid working, but the ability to be in the Leeds HQ 1 day a week and needs to be able and happy to roll sleeves up and share workload.Key Responsibilities:Management, review & oversight of operational finance – month end/management accounts, transactional, cashflows, capex, plc group reportingImprovement of reporting & month end processes for accuracy, timeliness, risk & efficiencyDeveloping a detailed understanding of the business model and the underlying commercial factors be able to interpret and interrogate performance and spot trends and anomaliesMentoring & development of the 2 management accountantsImprovement of monthly business partnering reviews – monthly performance vs budget, forecasting, KPI packRunning forecasting model scenariosQualifications:ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong numeracy and analytical skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailGood mentoring/coaching skillsCommercial mindset/focus when reviewing dataUsed to running KPI’s/trend analysisAdvanced user of Microsoft ExcelProven ability to work with and analyse large amounts of numerical dataAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlinesAbility to manage multiple projects/ support different areas simultaneouslyA real focus on finance being a support function to the wider business and therefore deliver an excellent “customer experience”FDD experience would be welcome.
