This role has 2 direct marketing reports and would suit someone who is agile, a team player and driven to succeed.Job Title - Marketing Manager - SpecificationThe job holder will be expected to lead the domestic marketing team to elevate support for the specification side of the business. This role will take responsibility for executing marketing plans as outlined in the marketing strategy and will support the Head of Marketing in key projects and campaigns.Key Responsibilities include:Acting as a brand ambassador that creates, implements and measures the success of a comprehensive and pro-active marketing and communications program that will enhance the Ideal Heating brand and position to increase sales outConstructing a fully integrated marketing campaign plan for the brands that takes into account key messaging, product launches and important campaigns for both installer and consumer across our one off, social housing and new build channelsLiaising with the digital and creative teams to ensure that campaigns briefs are understood and that key messaging and timelines are relayedBeing ‘the project’ lead on key campaigns within the brandWorking alongside the digital team to ensure that messaging and imagery for the brand is consistent across all digital channelsCreating all content for internal comms for important marketing messagingDeveloping and implementing an aggressive national and local marketing plan to increase awareness through various marketing channels and activitiesImplementation and delivery of regional marketing initiatives, supporting large installation customersDevelops ideas and marketing opportunities to obtain extensive brand awarenessWorking closely with all areas of the business including the digital team, sales, product management to ensure initiatives are supported, communicated and alignedProtecting and championing the brands to ensure articulation and consistent communication of image, brand and position internally and externallyManaging of content creation which includes messaging for blogs, emails and social mediaWorking with the team to create a yearly structured plan of content that combines subjects to include seasonality, planned events and product launchesThe job holder should have:A degree in business, marketing or related field with a minimum of five years professional working experience preferably within B2B and B2C businessesManagement experience is essentialExperience of working within a fast-paced, results-orientated businessAn enthusiastic, motivated, detail-oriented manner,a self-starter and able to demonstrate initiativeA strong understanding of the current marketing landscape and importance of comprehensive marketing strategiesA demonstrated ability to produce outstanding writing and communication skills with the ability to write in numerous styles including news, feature, and promotional materialsA team player able to work constructively and positively in supporting colleagues and all aspects of brand development and successExceptional project management skills with ability to manage people and projects effectively, delegate responsibility and provide follow-through on multiple projectsThe ability to strategize, anticipate problems and identify opportunities to build and protect the brandsProficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products, SAP/CRM or similar systemsCandidates should hold a full driving licence.
