Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts for review by Head of Finance, including reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts, P&L analysis, and accompanying commentary.
Ad hoc financial analysis as required by Head of Finance or the partners.
Process the permanent employee payroll, including all HMRC and pension submissions.
Prepare and post payroll journals for all payroll.
Supervise day-to-day operations within the finance team.
Preparation of VAT returns.
Post and reconcile the business bank and petty cash accounts.
Prepare regular cash reports including a short-term cashflow forecast.
Responsibility for sales ledger and credit control, including calculating and posting invoices
Liaise with Producer organisations to reconcile invoices, grant funding, and loans.
Analyse and post the business credit cards.
Monthly HMRC alcohol duty returns.
Qualifications and Experience.
AAT Level 4 or part qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Payroll processing and pension experience is essential.
Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills.
Demonstrate high levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Experience of group financial reporting is desirable
A team player who is prepared to take on other finance related tasks to support the wider finance team.
