Reference: CCC00303Description: The Role:Cambridge City Council is seeking talented, enthusiastic individuals to join the Asset Management team. We have two exciting new roles to support design and delivery of programmes of work to ensure the Council’s operational buildings are net zero carbon by 2030.A key focus for the Council is to improve the efficiency and sustainability of our new and existing buildings. Tackling Climate Change is one of our key policy priorities and in 2019 the Council called a Climate Emergency and launched its Climate Action plan.The Retrofit Project Officer will manage and support a range of low carbon, and net zero retrofit projects on Cambridge City Council’s operational buildings.You will assist with the design, development and delivery of decarbonisation and net zero retrofitprojects including obtaining funding where available.The successful candidate will have an understanding of decarbonisation and net zero retrofit in existing buildings, project management skills and experience successfully delivering building projects.A self-starter, you will be an effective communicator with excellent organisation skills and attention to detail. In this role you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance and delivery of projects.
