Duties:
- Direct and supervise staff to ensure they meet set business objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Successful general day to day running of the store
- Opening and closing of store Store and staff time keeping (Attendance register)
- Daily cash ups & cash control
- Daily stock control (Spot counts and Game Plan counts)
- Responsible for store stock and cash
- Monthly stock counts
- Stock receiving & receipting
- Mentor and motivate sales staff to put in their best in order to achieve financial goals
- Facilitating the sales of products and services both over the counter and telephonically
- Stocking, organizing, presenting, marketing and selling of products
- Housekeeping
- Customer analysis
- Sales / client retention and growth
- High attention to detail
- Strong supervisory skills
- Good working and understanding of retail and wholesale business
- Attend monthly managers meeting
- Ensure staff comply with companies policies & procedures
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures in store
Experience/Skills needed:
- Grade 12 certificate or at least 2 years experience in the retail industry
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Previous managerial experience
- High attention to detail
- Good understanding of Retail & Wholesale industry
- Computer literate
- Own transport essential
- Good multitasking skill
- Must be available for monthly managers meetings after work
