Role Overview: The Area Sales Manager oversees sales operations in a specific region, leading sales teams, and developing strategies to achieve revenue goals. The role involves managing key client relationships, analyzing market trends, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major clients and address their needs to prevent loss to competitors.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets, expand existing client relationships, and acquire new customers.
- Product Delivery: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve customer issues and complaints to maintain trust and satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets, manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure, and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Team Coordination: Work with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably as an Area Manager.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Education: Matric Certificate, Technical Certificate beneficial, BSc/BA in Business Administration advantageous.
- Location: Must reside near Witbank.
