1 x Permanent Full-time 37 hours per week
1 x Permanent Part-time - 22.5-25 hours per week (open for discussion)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 0800-1600 and Friday 0800-1530 hours

We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity to join North Yorkshire Police in the Resource Management Unit, to join the team based at Police Headquarters in Northallerton.
The Resource Management Unit is critical to the operational effectiveness of the force with responsibility for preparing duties and assisting in the distribution of personnel and operational cover requirements throughout the Force area.
About the Job
As a Resource Management Officer (RMO) you will be responsible for the following activities on a day-to-day basis:
- Preparing and planning duties for officers and staff, resolving short notice staffing issues.
- Resourcing of officers and staff for specific Operations and Events.
- Allocation of officers and staff to required training courses whilst maintaining operational cover.
- Undertake data quality checks, investigate, and resolve as necessary
- Provide guidance and knowledge in relation to Police Regulations, Police Staff Conditions and Working Time Regulations.
- The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills and must be confident using Microsoft 365 Microsoft packages - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote etc.
- Needs to be able to communicate on a professional basis with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
- Problem-Solving - using your initiative to resolve problems, pro-active actions are paramount in this role.
- A proven track record in relation to effective decision making as well as effective planning and organising skills.
