Meridian Business Support are delighted to be working with one of the UKs largest independent 4x4 dealerships to recruit a Sales Specialist in Chelmsford.
Our client has been established for over 50 years and offers in excess of 2000 premium vehicles for sale at their state-of-the-art multi-floor showroom.
They are actively looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their growing automotive team.
Main duties of role:
- To sell prestige vehicles and products in line with all aspects of dealership trading policies and regulations
- Responding to all inbound enquiries (email, telephone, walk-ins)
- Guide, inform, and educate all customers through our wide variety of stock and product options
- To achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
- Carry out vehicle demonstrations and drives
- To maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of different cars, their features and characteristics such as specification engine size, mileage, fuel usability and colours
- Negotiate and conclude the sale, completing all appropriate paperwork and documentation
- Monitor and manage all aspects of the vehicle order and preparation right up to and including the delivery
The successful candidate:
- Must be aged over 23 due to insurance regulations
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and technical aspects of vehicles and ownership
- Good knowledge of financing and insurance products would be advantageous
- A current and valid UK drivers licence
- A minimum of three years sales experience
Salary - £25,000 per annum plus bonus (OTE £100k) + car allowance + OTE uncapped
Hours Monday to Friday 9am-6.30pm with one day off in the week. Saturdays 9am-6pm and alternate Sundays 9am-5pm
