DescriptionThe Planning Assistant is responsible for providing production planning support to the Base Production Planners within the Base Maintenance Department. They will assist the Base Production Planner in ensuring that all Planned Scheduled Maintenance Work orders assigned to Base Maintenance are compiled, produced, and controlled in line with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities Production of Maintenance Work packages including all supporting maintenance data, associated forms and documents for Scheduled Maintenance Inputs
Conduct work order control for in work aircraft maintenance checks ensuring all data is recorded and documentation completed in line with the required company procedures.
Carry out Work Order Control issued to the 145 Maintenance Organisation including maintaining records of all work cards issued and returned.
Ensure all maintenance work pack documentation is accounted for, completed correctly and where applicable certified by an appropriately qualified engineer.
Assist with the process to ensure Third Party Suppliers enter the facility, provide the service, and depart in full compliance with MOE requirements.
Produce daily status reports/ KPIs for in work Scheduled Maintenance Inputs as required by the Base Check Management Team and Customer.
Conduct any other such duties that may be required from time to time as directed by the Line Manager.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Demonstrable experience working with CAA/ EASA regulations pertinent to Part 145 Production Planning activities.
Proven ability to operate several Industry data suites
Experience in liaising and communicating with internal/ external agencies
Technical Records knowledge
Capable of taking a safety focused approach all facets of work.
