Location: HEMS Way, Lincoln, LN4 2GW. We currently operate a Hybrid Working of a minimum of 3 days in the office
Hours: Part time, 22.5 per week

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 FTE (Actual £17,400 20,400)

The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) provides lifesaving critical care to the communities of Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire, funded by public donations. If somebody is involved in a serious incident or suddenly taken ill, speed and time are of the essence. Giving a patient the best chance of survival, our Air Ambulance crew effectively take the A&E department to the scene of the emergency.

About the Role
The Data Protection Officer (DPO) will provide crucial advice and guidance on data protection matters, ensuring compliance with UKGDPR and DPA2018. They will foster a data protection culture within the charity and retail teams, delivering advice with legally binding consequences. Ideal candidates will have expertise in data management and national and European data protection laws, along with strong communication and multitasking skills.
The DPO will advise and support decision-making with the processing of Personal and Special Categories of Data within the Principles and Data Subject Rights laid down in the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UKGDPR).
The DPO is responsible for monitoring the Charitys compliance with Data Protection Act Legislation; informing the Charity of, and advising on, its data protection obligations; and serving as the primary point of contact for all data protection queries, data subjects and the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
The DPO will lead in educating employees about data compliance, training staff involved in processing data and conducting regular security audits.
LNAA also look to the DPO to aid in cybersecurity training.
