To ensure the streamlined and optimized running of the Fleet Department by assisting the Fleet Supervisor. Key Performance Areas include:
- Completing daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Keeping records and general administration for both Despatch and Fleet
- Route planning and Management of all Collections and Deliveries
- Ensuring that all POD documentation is accounted for and completed as per business requirements
- Ensuring proper timekeeping of all operational staff is done daily
- Investigating all operational incidents and accidents, as well as implementing proper route course corrective actions
- Following standard operating procedures and safe working practices
- Tracking vehicles and on-route follow-up, escalating issues on the route
- Performing any other reasonable admin duties
- Monitoring and reporting work performance of staff in the designated area
- Capturing and reporting fuel usage and fines on a daily basis, ensuring completion timeously.
