Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
- Qualification : Relevant IT certificate/diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Certification : ISTQB or ISEB qualification.
- Experience :
- 4-6 years of solid experience in software testing, particularly in the financial sector.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manual Test Analyst.
- 4+ years in a Test Automation role, with strong knowledge of automation frameworks.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in developing reusable test scripts.
- Expertise in test automation tools such as Quality Centre, Quick Test Professional, and Unified Functional Testing.
- SQL knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel are required.
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities: - Estimate automation testing efforts and provide timeframes for projects.
- Plan, design, and implement test automation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain reusable automated test scripts.
- Execute and manage automated test scripts and test suites regularly.
- Identify test data requirements and prepare them for testing scenarios.
- Report automation defects and issues promptly.
- Provide updates on test automation progress and status to the Test Manager.
- Identify and escalate risks or issues to the Test Manager.
- Adhere to industry best practices in automation testing.
- Ensure compliance with test automation standards and suggest improvements to processes.
