Hiring: Financial Director (Bryanston)
The FINANCIAL DIRECTOR will oversee all financial and operational aspects of the organization and drive the organization’s financial and operational strategy and planning. Will be responsible for managing and overseeing the business support function to enable the achievement of business plans and results which needs to be compliant with legal requirements, policy and procedure and ethical business practice.
Job functions
• Managing the full finance function
• Manage development of divisions budgets
• Manage Annual Audit • Prepare and present financials at Board level
• Develop financial models for expansion of business
• Produce and distribute monthly management reports
• Maintain control over all financial transactions, taking responsibility for maintaining the organization's liquidity
• Produce financial reports
• Design financial models in support of ventures / expansion
• Present financial models and advise on most suitable options
• Manage cash flow and cash spend on projects
• Manage valuation of new investment opportunities
• Provide financial strategic guidance
• Oversee the organization’s accounting and finance systems
• Contract negotiations
• Develop business plans
• Build credibility, relationships, and maintain communication mechanisms with financial staff, senior organizational executives, and external stakeholders.
• Manage team of staff involved with day-to-day financial tasks.
• Group secretarial duties
• Oversee the day to day operations of the business
Desired Experience, Qualification and Skills
• Qualified CA – Not negotiable
• Min 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Broad knowledge of accounting and business principles.
