We are seeking a highly motivated, target-driven and experienced Short Term Broker to join our growing team and provide exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, acquiring, and servicing short-term insurance clients. They will play a vital role in generating new business, building relationships with clients, and providing expert insurance advice and solutions.
Key Responsibility
- Achieve monthly sales targets by selling insurance plans to new and existing clients.
- Develop effective marketing strategies and utilize networking and cold calling to identify opportunities.
- Tailor insurance plans to meet clients' specific needs through needs analysis.
- Obtain quotes from multiple insurance providers and provide clients with solid advice.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services and products.
- Manage client relationships from lead to policy activation and handle renewals.
- Ensure compliance documentation is completed.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of potential business opportunities and report activities to management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matriculation certificate
- RE5 certification
- NQF4 or NQF5 qualification with at least 120 credits
- Class of business certificates for personal and commercial lines
- Proven experience in handling personal and commercial lines
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
