MacGregor Black are seeking an experienced and driven National Account Manager (Grocery) to join a global Spirits distribution business. This is a permanent remote based role.
This key role will play a pivotal part in the growth of multiple brands with select Top 4 grocers.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of selected grocery accounts, ensuring strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Regularly report to Head of Off-Trade, ensuring alignment with the businesses wider Off-Trade strategy.
- Utilise your fine-tuned negotiation skills to secure favourable terms and drive business growth within these key retailers.
- Leverage your deep understanding of your clients ways of working to navigate and influence their decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of account plans and promotions.
- Monitor and analyse account performance, making data-driven decisions to optimise results.
What are we looking for?
- Strong background in grocery account management, ideally within the spirits or broader beverage industry.
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively with major grocery retailers.
- In-depth understanding of grocery operations and key decision-making processes.
- Must be based within reach of key accounts to ensure regular in-person engagement.
- A strategic thinker with a passion for driving growth and delivering results.
