They are now seeking an experienced Conveyancer with proven residential property experience of a minimum of 3 years to join their Residential Property team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality legal services to clients, focusing on sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold properties), re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
- Liaise with clients, agents, and introducers to provide updates on transaction progress.
- Ensure services are delivered efficiently.
- Manage your own caseload with the support of an assistant and provide support to fellow team members.
- Participate in business development opportunities and events.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor (minimum 3 years PQE), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), or Licensed Conveyancer. However, candidates with at least 3 years of relevant residential property experience will be considered.
- Expertise in key areas of law and procedure related to sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers, and new build transactions.
- Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in IT.
- Commercial and financial awareness, including the ability to take responsibility for the financial control of client matters.
- Ability to develop positive client relationships and manage client expectations effectively.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Marketing, networking, and business development skills in line with the role.
