Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION:
• Retaining a direct territory sales function
• Preparing sales offers, responses to tenders and similar documents
• Dealing with a range of product distributors and wholesalers in the UK
• Researching and making recommendations to the Board in respect of additional products
• Managing the existing distributors and where necessary adding to them
• Taking responsibility for the budgeting and forecasting of the product range in conjunction with the company's finance team
• Liaising with the service partner to ensure a seamless customer experience and referrals from the service partner
• Ensuring that CRM records for the product area are kept up to date
• Liaising with other product Heads within the Group for cross selling in both directions
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate is likely to meet the brief below:
• To be educated to a minimum of degree standard in a science or engineering discipline relevant to the product area
• Show a successful track record in selling a life science product into the life science industry, academia and institutions
• Have an appetite to grow an already successful business
• Indicate an ability to manage direct reports, distributors or to grow into the same
• To work as part of a close knit and happy Group team
