Job DescriptionMy client, a London Local Authority, is looking for a Diversity & Inclusion Manager for an initial 12 month contract.
This role is a great opportunity to join the team and really shape and grown the EDO agenda. It will suit a specialist in the EDI space, or an experienced HR Business Partner or OD Partner looking to specialise.
Reporting into the Head of OD & Strategy you will lead on the delivery of innovative and effective Equality Diversity and Inclusion strategy and programme of work for the council. Providing expertise to the HR and council leaders in the development of an inclusive, performance management, leadership, colleague engagement & development and in bringing organisational change and development expertise.
Working as part of the HR Team and OD specifically, the role is at the heart of the ambitious organisational EDI programme that champions the development of colleagues and shaping the organisational people management frameworks.
You must be an experienced HR professional with a track record of developing and delivering EDI strategies within the Public Sector. Candidates must also be CIPD level 5 qualified.
The role is hybrid, there will be a need to be onsite around once a week.
