About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Business Manager to join our team at Ringway South West. As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities within the Business Unit, including business management, performance tracking, and communication. You will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with Company and Divisional processes, and supporting our team to meet and exceed targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Business Planning Process and develop Annual Plan documents (HSE, People Plan, Stakeholder Plan, etc.)
- Monitor and produce key reports on internal Company targets, quality benchmarks, and compliance measures
- Liaise with Group to ensure legal compliance and attend Group-level meetings, sharing relevant information with the Business Unit
- Support the training and development of staff by maintaining up-to-date training matrices and coordinating annual training plans
- Oversee the preparation and updating of key business documents, including Quality Plans and Emergency Response Plans
- Manage stakeholder feedback, ensuring complaints and compliments are logged, addressed, and escalated as necessary
- Act as the Division’s Communication Champion, liaising with Client Communications Leads and ensuring internal, external, and social media communications are aligned and positive
- Coordinate internal newsletters, external comms activities, and prepare for monthly management meetings and annual events
- Foster innovation and encourage staff recognition through award programs (e.g., Near Misses, Bright Ideas, Employee of the Month)
- Prepare and share articles highlighting divisional successes and innovations

- Timely and accurate preparation of key reports and communications
- Effective management of internal and external audits ensuring full compliance
- Successful execution of staff engagement activities, training programs, and events
- Strong participation in initiatives and strategic planning efforts
- Positive feedback from stakeholders and clients

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and detailed reporting
- Strong data analysis and computer literacy skills

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business management, ideally within the infrastructure or construction sector
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration within the Business Unit
