To continue to provide relevant services and support now and in the future, the organisation has invested in a renewed focus on the charity’s welfare activities which include financial assistance grants, support to residents at two sheltered homes, and the management and development of its outsourced 24/7 helpline, introduced in 2019, and now available to 29,000 people working in 340+ companies in the sectors it supports.

This is an exciting time to join our client as they review the integration, development, delivery and growth of their key welfare and wellbeing services, to ensure they are fit to support their community, now and in the future. The organisation will be driving forward a programme that looks at the growth of our services, maintaining quality, good safeguarding practice and impact.
The Trustee will bring knowledge and experience of welfare programmes and services, providing support and expertise to the charity as it develops its long-term welfare and wellbeing strategy.
We are seeking those with the following skills areas:
- Senior-level experience in service delivery for social care, health, or safeguarding in large organisations
- Knowledge of current developments in mental health and welfare services
- An understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities, and liabilities of trusteeship
