Objectives:
✅ Strengthen existing relationships with vendors through regular meetings
✅ Align strategic objectives with vendors
✅ Create new relationships & onboard new vendors where appropriate
✅ Maximise partner incentives / programmes
✅ Drive commercial efficiency & continuous improvement
✅ Support the Sales team / bid manager with bids, deal reg & negotiation
✅ Build out (and manage) a procurement team function within the business
Skills & Experience:
✅ Previous experience working in a fast paced SME IT Service Provider environment
✅ Proven experience managing IT tech vendors and relationships
✅ Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
✅ Self motivated, enthusiastic & high energy
✅ Confident in challenging the status quo
Partners You'll Manage
✅ Strategic Vendors: Cisco, Extreme, Forescout, Fortinet
✅ Telco Carriers: BT, Virgin, Openreach
✅ Critical Applications: Oracle Netsuite, SolarWinds, ServiceNow
✅ Onboarding new vendors where appropriate
Location:
This is a hybrid role. Expect to visit West Midlands office 2-3 times per week with frequent travel to vendor meetings.
