Hire Resolve's client is a leading company in the solar industry, seeking a dynamic individual to lead their sales team in the Western Cape region. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a sales strategy for the Western Cape region, identifying market opportunities and developing plans to capitalize on them.
- Business Development: Drive new business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand the customer base, and achieve sales targets for the region.
- Customer Relationship Management: Ensure exceptional customer service, oversee customer records and sales activities, and develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market growth, provide feedback to product development, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of Solar PV and BESS technologies and market dynamics.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
