SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) is the leading independent provider of accredited Psychology, Counselling, Human Resource Management, Business Management and Social Work qualifications, with all courses grounded in psychology. We have campuses in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Online.
SACAP is looking for a Learning and Teaching Coordinator (LTC) for the Online Campus. The LTC coordinates and administers all educator-related activities on the Online Campus. The LTC works closely with the Head of Learning and Teaching and the LTC Manager in fulfilment of their duties and responsibilities.
The candidate will be required to perform various functions that would include:
- Front line of communication, coordination and support to Online Educators
- Ongoing coordination of quality assurance processes
- Online Educator wellness and engagement
- Timetable scheduling, recruitment and onboarding
- Acting as the general liaison for Online Educators around administrative and academic challenges
Qualifications and Experience: - A minimum of a 3-year undergraduate degree, preferably in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
- At least 3 years of academic administration / coordination experience, preferably within Higher Education in South Africa
- Technologically savvy / strong digital literacy skills, with a special interest in Online Education
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Highly developed relationship-building / interpersonal skills
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive with the ability to anticipate and plan ahead of time

The role will report directly to the LTC Manager
Operating Hours
This is a full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays*:
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
- Due to the nature of this role, there will be a need to work flexible hours to the extent to which it is reasonably necessary to perform the duties of the LTC position.
