We are looking for an experienced General Manager for a Boutique Hotel in Newcastle to oversee the Hotel Operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in hotel operations, a strong background in food and beverage management, and excellent leadership skills. This role demands a motivated and experienced leader with a strong background in managing a team of 50-70 team members and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Micros and Opera systems, expertise in food and beverage costing, and the ability to manage service providers and supplier liaisons. You should be comfortable working under pressure, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager at a 4-star hotel.
- Extensive knowledge of Micros and Opera Cloud systems.
- Strong food and beverage costing knowledge.
- Ability to manage service providers and supplier liaisons.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and as needed.
- Strong communication and reporting skills with experience in liaising with Directors.
