Senior Engineer
Requirements
- A relevant BSc or BEng
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license (Code EB)
Key Performance Areas - Continuous Improvement: Conduct process mapping, data analysis, and workflow assessment to develop and implement optimised processes. Encourage and facilitate the identification and implementation of new ideas and technologies that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Promote a mind-set of ongoing improvement among staff.
- Engineering Consultancy Services: Perform reliability analysis, root cause failure analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis. Consult on strategies to improve asset reliability, minimise downtime, and extend asset life. Provide recommendations for selecting and integrating asset management software and tools.
- Systems Development and Integration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop or enhance systems that streamline operations. Provide recommendations for selecting and integrating software and tools (example Asset Management Software).
- Project Management: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
- Process and System Upskilling: Identify process and system training needs, develop training programmes, and facilitate workshops.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor performance against targets. Generate regular reports and provide insights to senior management.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, gather feedback, and incorporate it into process and system improvements.
