Assistant Finance Manager
Up to 45963 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)

Main Duties of the Assistant Finance Manager
- Expertise in preparing financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Identify and explain variances between actual and budgeted figures.
- Develop and present budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Implement cost-control measures and improve efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT returns, maintain VAT compliance, and reconcile VAT accounts.
- Manage customs declarations, ensure compliance with regulations, and monitor customs duty costs.
- Align financial planning with company strategy and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain fixed asset register, complete month-end closing, and supervise the costing section.
- Assist in audit planning and liaise with external auditors.
Assistant Finance Manager requirements:
- Certified in ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience of customs and international trade
- Experience of VAT returns and customs duty
- Experience general ledger and taxation regulations
- Knowledge with financial Management, reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies
- Background in manufacturing
