Job Description: As an Administrative Assistant at Natrent Platinum Rentals, you will support our property management operations and debtors’ management. Your role will include a blend of administrative tasks and fieldwork, ensuring our properties are well-maintained and our financial processes are efficient. A valid driver's license is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Debtors Management:
- Support the debt collection process by communicating with tenants, sending payment reminders, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in resolving any debt-related inquiries or issues.
- Conduct Property Inspections:
- Perform regular inspections of rental properties to ensure they meet company standards and compliance requirements.
- Document inspection findings and compare them with previous reports to identify changes or issues.
- Inspection Comparisons:
- Analyse and compare current inspection reports with historical data to identify trends or recurring problems.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
- Visit local council offices as required to obtain permits, submit documents, or gather property-related information.
- Assist with Meter Readings:
- Help with reading and recording utility meters for rental properties.
- Ensure accurate and timely meter readings to support billing processes.
Requirements:
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
- Experience: Previous experience in property management or debtors' management is preferred but not essential.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Comfortable using various software for record-keeping and report generation.
- Basic understanding of property management software is an advantage.
