We are recruiting a new member of the software development team to help build out our world-class software platform. The ideal candidate must be conscientious and have a natural curiosity to learn how things work. A healthy spirit of adventure and sense of humor would be helpful.
Responsibilities:
- You will be the product owner for:
- System implementation of the credit policy, credit scoring, and provisioning
- Define, prioritize, and deliver changes
- Be a driving force to ensure timely quality implementations. Get involved wherever required
- Ensure user adoption is achieved
- Perform root cause analysis on issues experienced
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, primarily the data and credit teams
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant work experience (Product Owner, Business/System Analyst) and/or any other proof of relevant abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using logical pragmatic reasoning
- A concern for order, quality, and accuracy. A meticulous approach to work
- Fast and self-learning abilities
- Result orientation and eager to work hard and smart
- Passion for Africa and willingness to work in the developing world context
