Bookkeeper / Client Operations Administrator
Job Description
Seeking a BComm Accounting graduate for a company offering global investment management services to high-net-worth investors. Responsibilities include full accounting functions up to trial balance, accounts payable/receivable, EFTs, and CIPC compliance. Client operations tasks involve tax reports, fee calculations, and admin support for investment consultants. Own car required, and Pastel experience is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS:
Accounting Tasks:
- Able to perform the full accounting function up to trial balance;
- Journals, Importing/Exporting and processing up to trial balance;
- Accounts Payable and Receivable;
- Electronic Funds Transfers;
- Income and payments on bank statement to balance to cashbook;
- Correct account allocations;
- Invoices to be generated and checked;
- All source documents to be saved;
- Assisting with obtaining and saving source documents for the annual audit;
- Masters office admin;
- CIPC submissions and compliance.
Client Operations Tasks: - Saving tax reports for clients;
- Printing source documents for client valuations;
- Perform fee calculations for clients;
- Send client fee instructions;
- Perform the monthly reconciliation for fees received;
- Calculation commission payable;
- All admin tasks relating to clients managed by two investment consultants.
Requirements - Bachelor of Commerce with Accounting
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle is non-negotiable
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong time management skills;
- Systems skills and knowledge (Excel, Pastel - advantageous)
