Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
Create effective and sustainable partnerships with strategic vendors. Build, maintain and enhance effective relationships across selected service providers, with a focus on achieving tactical and strategic business outcomes. Ensure that the contracted services are delivered, and service levels are met. Ensure the effective deployment of the contracts processes and standardised agreements.
Responsibilities
- Implement strategy - Understand SBSA business and IT strategy as to implement the Vendor Management Operational Strategy
- Drive communication between vendors and SBSA key stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder relationships – Leverage on the understanding of vendor motivations, strategic plans, market challenges, and power issues internally and amongst vendors
- Facilitate and build relationships with and amongst senior management and executives internally and with Vendors
- Utilise extensive experience to facilitate contract negotiations and to monitor the commercial sourcing agreements

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: B Com/BSc/B eng
Experience Required
- At least 5 years Operational management Experience of which 3 years should include the management of outsourced contracts (including suppliers).
- Commercial Contract Management Experience (Commercial Contract Negotiations) 3 years
- Previous Outsourced Production experience
- Technical systems experience
- Must have relevant experience in managing a diverse team and setting team goals.
- Experience in process mapping and general operational analytics.
- Six Sigma experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in budgeting, report preparation and design, capacity planning and impact analysis.
- Experience in Project Management.

- In depth knowledge and understanding of the Banks products, service standards, systems, operational processes, pressures, practices, policies and procedures as well as all documentation and securities.
- Knowledge of Outsourced Production
- Knowledge of Code of Banking Practice
- Knowledge of People Management Practices
- Understanding of the relationships between the various entities involved, and their impact on Integrated Processing centres.
- Plans and manages financial resources in line with sound financial principles.
- Requires project management and analysis skills to ensure that work is completed in a controlled and efficient manner.
