Role: UX / UI Designer
Work model: Hybrid
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 DOE
Location: Essex
My client is looking for a UX / UI Designer with at least 6 years of agency experience to join their team in the heart of Essex.
What will you do:
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviours
- Create visually appealing, brand-aligned designs that enhance user engagement and support usability.
- Design interfaces that provide a seamless experience across various devices and screen sizes.
- Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback, identify issues, and refine designs based on user interactions.
- Work closely with developers and the wider team to align on design feasibility, functionality, and implementation.
- Gather and analyse feedback from users and team members, iterating on designs to enhance both usability and aesthetics.
- Manage timelines and deliverables for design projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives.
- Keep on top of industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Your experience:
- At least 6 years of working in an agency environment.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant field
- High proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of other industry standard tools such as Sketch and InVision would be a bonus
- Experience with leading a team / mentoring and guiding junior designers is also beneficial
- Strong communication skills
- An excellent portfolio to back your experience
