Candidate Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is required
- Must have proven experience as a Head of Sales or similar leadership role in the travel and hospitality industry
- Should have strong knowledge of the African luxury travel market
- Must have excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Should have the ability to work independently and lead a remote team
- Must be a strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
- Must have the willingness and ability to travel frequently across Africa and internationally
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel industry partners, tour operators, and corporate clients
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand market reach
- Oversee the sales pipeline, reporting, and forecasting to ensure sustainable growth
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with brand campaigns and initiatives
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events internationally
- Travel extensively to build and maintain client relationships and partnerships
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly
This is a live out position, extensive travel is required internationally
Salary: R45kpm-R60kpm (DOE)
