We are excited to be hiring a Biddable Account Director for our client, a well-established and proudly independent agency with unrivalled knowledge and expertise across all channels from broadcast to biddable. The role:
- As Biddable Account Director you will be leading on the day to day running of a client's digital business.
- Responsible for implementation, analysis and optimisation of biddable campaigns while maintaining and developing client relationships.
- The successful candidate will also be expected to immerse themselves in a client’s business and sector and confidently consult across different areas such as media, ad copy / creative, tracking and attribution.
- While the role is principally focused on overseeing existing accounts, they would also be expected to shape a client’s overarching biddable strategy while carrying out initiatives which will ultimately fulfil or enhance client’s objectives.
- In addition, the role will have opportunities to get involved with the agency's business development through pitching for new business and working with the Business Directors to evolve their Digital offering.
- As a growing company a Biddable Account Director will also play a key role in the development of the wider team by ensuring that AMs, SAEs and AEs are getting the relevant training, exposure and support, being prepared to get stuck in with the day to day where it’s needed.
Experience and skills required:
Candidates must be fully conversant in paid digital media channels including Paid Social, and be able to demonstrate several years working across biddable campaigns, across implementation, strategic planning, measurement and evaluation and client account management. In addition to:
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- A positive, flexible, can-do attitude
- Be able to coordinate and prioritise a number of tasks at the same time
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Confident, approachable, and willing to build strong client relationships
Systems/software skills required:
- MS Excel to an advanced level
- MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Google Ads and/or Bing Ads
- Paid Social interfaces including Facebook Business Manager and Twitter for Business
- Website tracking tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Ad management and ad serving tools such as DoubleClick or FlashTalking
It would be beneficial (but not essential) to have had experience using the following tools:
- TikTok, Snapchat and other emerging social channels
- Search competitor analysis tools such as Adthena, ComScore, SEMRush, Adgooroo or Search Metrics
- Website tracking implementation tools such as Google Tag Manager
- Bid management tools such as Kenshoo, Marin or SA360
- Call tracking services such as Infinity or Response Tap
- Data visualisation software such as Google Data Studio, Microstrategy or Tableau
