Role Summary:As the Head of Marketing, you will lead all marketing initiatives for the Brand itself and importantly the venue marketing, including digital marketing, branding, session sales, sponsorship activation, and community outreach. Your goal will be to drive customer engagement, increase footfall, and elevate the profile of the venues. You’ll work closely with the Operations team and directly with the CEO and supporting Board members to ensure the overall growth of the Brand and performance of the venues.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the Brand’s business objectives, focusing on customer insight and understanding, venue utilisation and brand visibility.Brand Development: Lead efforts to build the HITZ Brand positioning it as an innovative experience for both B2C audiences (developing and lapsed cricketers) and B2B audiences (Cricket Clubs, Schools, other potential hosts) and other key stakeholders.Sales & Promotions: Develop innovative campaigns to increase utilisation for both individual bookers and members, using both digital and traditional channels. Monitor performance and adjust strategies as needed.Performance Marketing across Digital & Social Media: Oversee the development of engaging digital content and related paid media activity, including PPC, social media, email marketing, and website updates, to build a highly effective online presence and foster community engagement.Community Outreach: Work with local community organisations to increase participation and awareness of cricket at a grassroots level.Data & Analytics: Use data-driven insights to optimise campaigns, track ROI, and measure the success of all marketing activities.Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns that drive maximum impact and return on investment.Skills & Qualifications:Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or events sector.Expertise: Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns that drive conversion, brand engagement, and revenue growth.Digital Marketing: Strong experience with digital marketing channels, including social media, PPC, SEO, and email marketing.Cricket Knowledge: A passion for cricket and a deep understanding of the sport and its fanbase is highly desirable.Digital Marketing: Strong experience with digital marketing channels, including social media, PPC, SEO, and email marketing.Start-Up Mentality: Ability to think creatively and innovate in a competitive marketplace.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across various departments and with external partners.Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure and optimise marketing performance.Budget Management: Strong financial acumen with experience in managing focused marketing budgets.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Venue(s) Utilisation with corresponding revenue targetsGrowth in digital and social media engagementEnhanced brand recognition and positive media coverageHow to Apply:Please submit your CV along with a cover letter explaining your interest in the role and how your skills align with the key responsibilities.
