Bell Cornwall Recruitment's client is a growing accountancy practice who are opening a new office in Sutton Coldfield. They are expanding into a new office and need to grow their team with a new bookkeeper to support with their expanding client base.
The Role:
- Undertake bookkeeping for a variety of clients as allocated by the line manager inputting data and processing payments as required
- Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner
- Adhere to proper accounting standards
- Meet deadlines and time budgets
- Advise line manager of any outstanding issues
- Complete VAT returns for allocated clients
The ideal Bookkeeper will have:
- 2 years or more Bookkeeping experience preferred
- Knowledge of a number of accounting packages (XERO/ SAGE / Quickbooks)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Organised and methodical
- Client focused
- Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel, to an intermediate level, for the production of letters and spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Happy to work in the office full time in Sutton Coldfield
