Our client, a leading brand in the automotive industry is seeking for a dedicated and detail-oriented
HR Assistant to join their team in
Durban South, KwaZulu-Natal .
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the group training function by ensuring the smooth execution of recruitment, induction, and other HR-related duties. This role also involves effective communication with all dealerships and maintaining the IOD (Injury on Duty) process.
Key Responsibilities: - Support all recruitment and induction activities within the group training function.
- Provide effective communication and HR support to all dealerships.
- Maintain and manage the IOD process.
- Assist with Employment Equity submissions.
- Facilitate the distribution and management of uniforms.
Minimum Requirements: - Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources (HR degree or equivalent).
- Computer literate (Office suite).
- Effective understanding of the Labour Relations Act of 1995/MIBCO.
- Effective understanding of general best practice human resource policies and procedures, including:
- Recruitment cycle
- Performance management
- Succession planning
- Disciplinary/grievance hearing facilitation
