Senior Quantity Surveyor .
Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Fluent on Afrikaans!
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quantity surveying within the property or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, cost estimation, and budget management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for property development projects, including new builds and renovations.
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure compliance and value for money.
- Project Monitoring: Oversee project progress to ensure timely completion within budget, identifying and resolving any financial discrepancies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to costs and contracts, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Valuation and Payments: Conduct valuations of completed work and manage payment processes to contractors and suppliers.
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies and financial assessments for potential property developments.
- Cost Control: Implement effective cost control measures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to stakeholders, detailing project performance and financial status.
